Marchegg is not actually at Wagram, but is about 30km east of the Wagram battlefield.

I think that when Chris put Wagram down as possible event it was in July. If the Americans are attending, and i understood they were going to come over this year we will presumably need to take tents and cooking gear,etc which presumably means we are going by coach. The length of the Trip will be at least 4-5 days and it is unlikly that i will be able to get such time off work in the middle of July. If we are thinking of changing the event from Emmmuhl then we need to know dates and arrangemnts asap if members are going to attend.

I would love to go to Wagram, however me and Rach have organised the time off for Eggmuhl (not a problem though). The 3rd company U.S Members as far as i know will attend Eggmuhl as well if we go.
I was always under the impression that we would be camping at either trip. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Wagram was an option when we voted for Eggmuhl but seam to remember that it was a trip rather than a Re-enactment. I think we should stick with Eggmuhl.

I spoke to Peggy Matthews a month or so ago, she said because of the weak value of the dollar they didnt think many of the US members would likely come across the costs simply being prohibitive for them. In a way it is going to cost more for us as well, fuel in Germany, not to mention the kidnapping costs of the hotel organ player.
