Lines of Communication (Forum) - New contact
Barrie (Gast)
| | In Dorchester a new contact was made who could, possibly make uniforms. Has this progressed at all?
Barrie | | | | brummie (Gast)
| | hello. I didnt know about this contact.
I went to the Ryton on dunsmore re-enactors market yesterday to get my shoes repaired and saw the chimera stall. It was hellishly busy and I didnt get a chance to speak to them. i had to queue up to see the cobbler!
I know it is late in the day but they are still there if any one is nearby | | | | La Blanchisseuse (4 posts so far) | | I think James Brindley was following it up. | | | | Barrie (Gast)
| | Valerie has supplied Gaiters for £40 per pair which look quite good but she has not supplied or fitted the leather strap to the underside. She has said she cannot source these and does not do leather work. | | | | Brummie (Gast)
| | Hello, Im glad someone has got on the site! Its not the end of the world regarding the strap. Maybe Keith will sort you something out? If you are happy with them then that is the main thing. The price seems high to me but I have not bought any for years.
See everyone tonight/tomorrow morning. A.B.W. |
