A very sucessful event again. Thanks for your Help and hard work. A bit of a pain not being allowed fires but the BBQ Area worked fine. Roll on Detling where we can burn to our hearts content.

Amanda thought the advance of the regiment was the most professional she had seen us perform, which just goes to show that practice makes perfect even if you have to get up at some godforesaken hour of a Sunday morning to do it!

I've fixed your canteen. Had to be careful, I think it was put together with a soldering iron. As soon as I applied heat it started to bubble along the seams. I've checked it and it appears ok.

The regiment did look good all weekend and worked very hard. Well Done.

Thank you very much James, i really appreciate you repairing the canteen. We have found the greatcoat pattern and i will get it copied this week and posted to Naomi for a price.

I have to say that it is a reacurring theme that when we are in formation marching to the battlefield, espcially if we are singing,the public often break into a spontaineous applause which i think is a great complement to the regiment.
