Lines of Communication (Forum) - CHIMERA ORDERS
ausrobal (Gast)
| | Dear all,
The topic concerning last years orders for multiple members of the 21st de Ligne was raised at Wellington Country Park, it transpires that several members have not had their orders fulfilled and are frustrated at Chimera's responses. Several members were sized up last year at Sewerby and are still awaiting orders. Can everyone who has been affected please get in touch with names and items ordered and paid for.
Best regards,
Robert | | | | lemauditanglais (Gast)
| | I am asking John Anastasio at a Stitch in Time to put a new habit together.
http://www.napoleonic-uniforms.co.uk/Welcome.html.
John sells footwear also and some brasswork. Not sure what the relative pricing is compared to Chimera but I bought an excellent fitting forage jacket from him for £50 a couple of years back and now my shape not the jacket has changed

| | Hi Rob
Me and Rach got our Habits, so dont have a problem with Chimera. There are a couple of mistakes on the jackets that i can't really put up with so i will be adressing this at the meeting and also with Chimera.
This will be friendly of course.
I will also bring some patterns that i have if anybody would like a look.
Also i have cloth if any body needs any, calico and a canvas type that would do for Shako covers (the canvas may need dying afterwards.
It's Free (to 21e only)

| | Hi Chris/James,
I am not trying to put down Chimera,as Gini is lovely and the products are good, but we do need to address the delivery problem. James what meeting are you talking about?
Chris, also note that the following Russian company also do the Habite Veste and other goods, I have made enquiries for costs on the Habite veste and Shako and how to order, I understand you can pay via paypal.

| | Hi Rob
I also am not putting anybody down i just think we need to discuss these mistakes before any more jackets are made. The Gilet she made is fantastic and a perfect fit.
The meeting is at Algrave on the 1st june.
