Yes, This is all diplomatic and friendly. I need to have a chat about the white facings they just dont match any of the origional pictures from the Paul Willing books 'Napoleon et ses soldats'. I hadn't really noticed when i tried it on i was more interested in the fit. The large 21 buttons are also far too large (i have origionals) If of course it is agreed that they are acceptable by the membership then fair enough.

Buttons, Chimera know the buttons are not ideal, but the jackets need buttons, I have asked "McFarthingbowls Supplies" (over a year ago), I've found the address for the last maker that Trevor used, unfortunately he is about to go on holiday, when he reurns I should be able to get some buttons from him.

Hi Keith
Can you get him to copy the ones Mark Evans had done PLEASE, the old ones Trevor got copied are very rough which causes the stitching to fail.
Also they are not a good quality as they were copied from the old pewter ones we used to have.

The small buttons that Jinny got from Canada are quite good the problem as you know are the larger ones being far too large. Maybe we could order some small ones.

I don't have the the address Mark used, I'll get in touch and see if he still has the address.

Given the variation in the originals, I think "Trevor'" are okay.

Keith
